"A man in his 80s has died after being hit by a police vehicle on an emergency call. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service treated the elderly man at the scene, but despite their efforts, he died in hospital later that day."

An elderly man in his 80s was struck by a police vehicle on Lambeth Palace Road at about 6.30pm on 2 October while the vehicle was responding to an emergency. The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is conducting an investigation to establish the circumstances of the collision.
