An 80-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another pensioner, a man in his 70s, died from serious injuries at a block of flats.
Thames Valley Police reported that the two men were known to each other and have launched a murder investigation to gather evidence and identify the deceased.
Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Nick Hind confirmed that there is no wider risk to the community, and urged anyone with information to reach out to police.
The investigation remains ongoing, with detectives on scene and encouraging community members to report any relevant information that could aid the case.
