Northern Lights across south east London captured in mesmerising new photos

The Northern Lights lit up the night sky once again this year with rare sightings across many areas in the country, thrilling residents in south east London.

According to Professor in Space Environment from the University of Birmingham Sean Elvidge, this is thanks to the biggest geomagnetic storm since 2003, which has disrupted satellites and power grids.
