No safety measures for Kidbrooke road despite two fatal crashes in three weeks
Briefly

Charlie Fancy, a local resident, expressed fear for pedestrians, particularly those with strollers, due to the high-speed traffic exiting from the A2 motorway, stating, "It's scary when you're trying to cross the road, especially with a buggy because it's just coming off of the [A2] motorway so cars come really fast around the corner."
Cllr Sandra Bauer highlighted the urgent need for safety measures at the dangerous junction, emphasizing, "We need action now and we can't wait. People will come back and tell you that in the longer term this will change but lives are being lost and we can't have another family lose a member. It's just horrific."
Despite the repeated fatal accidents, Transport for London (TfL) has not yet committed to specific safety changes on Kidbrooke Park Road, stating, "TfL continues to explore ways to further improve safety on Kidbrooke Park Road with the local council."
