Naomi Campbell's Fashion for Relief misrepresented its partnership with Unicef during a fundraising event, leading to serious concerns and a formal inquiry by the Charity Commission.
Unicef UK reported that it never had any relationship with Fashion for Relief, was unaware of the fundraising event, and received no funds from it, raising questions about donor trust.
Despite raising nearly 4.8 million over five years, Fashion for Relief allocated only 10% for charitable grants, leading to allegations of financial misconduct against Naomi Campbell's charity.
Following the inquiry, the Charity Commission imposed a five-year ban on Campbell from running any charity due to her mismanagement and inappropriate financial charges to Fashion for Relief.
