A murder probe has been launched after a fatal stabbing in Ilford, where a 50-year-old man was found stabbed in a block of flats and later pronounced dead.
Detective Chief Superintendent Lewis Basford expressed condolences, stating, "My thoughts are first and foremost with the man's friends and family... This investigation is progressing at pace led by specialist detectives."
