Metropolitan Police responded to a residential property on Horseferry Road in Westminster after reports of an 18-day-old baby falling from height. The infant subsequently died from injuries sustained in the incident. A 43-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, leading the investigation, indicated the incident appears to have occurred within a domestic context. Police are conducting urgent inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death and appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
