Morden to Brixton bus route 118 comes to an end TOMORROW
Briefly

Transport for London (TfL) is implementing significant changes to bus services in south London effective February 1. Route 118 will be withdrawn, with revised route 45 extending from Brixton Hill to Morden, covering much of route 118’s previous path. The revised 45 will run every 12 minutes during peak hours. Route 59 will also change, linking St Bartholomew's Hospital to Clapham Park. Passengers affected by the changes can utilize alternative routes and services that maintain connectivity, following a public consultation that informed these adjustments based on observed passenger demand.
The upcoming changes to bus routes in south London aim to streamline services and better match bus frequency with passenger demand, reflecting results from recent consultations.
Despite the withdrawal of route 118, TfL offers several alternative travel options to ensure passenger connectivity and adequate service coverage across the affected areas.
