Met Police officer accused of 'inappropriate relationship' with 16-year-old girl
Briefly

A former Met Police officer faced charges for misconduct involving an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old girl. The case is now in a higher court.
The inappropriate relationship between Che Homersham and the 16-year-old girl allegedly occurred while he was fulfilling his duties as a police constable during late 2018.
The investigation, initiated in June 2023, was conducted by the Met's anti-corruption unit and overseen by the Independent Office for Police Conduct, concluding with a charge authorized by the CPS.
District judge Annabel Pilling deemed the misconduct issue too serious for magistrates' court, referring it to Southwark Crown Court for further proceedings and trial preparation.
