The Met Office has updated their yellow weather warning as the development of intense thunderstorm activity on Wednesday and Thursday.
Hot weather will continue despite the 'heavy downpours' and thunderstorms, but from Friday cooler conditions will arrive.
There is still a risk of thunderstorms on Friday, but they will not be as impactful as what some will see on Wednesday and Thursday.
Neil Armstrong, Chief Forecast at the Met Office, said, 'The focus for Wednesday's thunderstorm Yellow warning extends across a swathe of southeastern England.'
