The Met Office has issued amber weather warnings for snow and heavy rain, predicting significant travel disruption and potential flooding in the Grampian and Highlands areas.
Tony Wisson, Deputy Chief Forecaster, indicated that accumulations could reach 10-15cm of snowfall, especially in higher hills, along with strong winds leading to drifting snow.
