The London Overground will be closed for the essential engineers' works from July 20 to August 4 for 16 days.
The closure is due to replacing a railway arch at Hackney Downs, built in the 1860s.
Services affected include Chingford to Liverpool Street Overground, Greater Anglia connections, and disruptions to various stations along the route.
