The facility will feature a six-lane pool, children's splash pad, dance studio, and gym, part of an £11m investment into leisure provision by Redbridge Council.
The lido is expected to be similarly priced to leisure center pools in the borough. Despite objections citing green space use, the council deemed the site under-utilized for the new project.
