London's Paddington Station, built in 1838, is the fifth oldest station in London and the tenth oldest train station globally. Although originally intended to be temporary, it has become a permanent fixture with parts of the station being 186 years old.
Harrow & Wealdstone Station, established in 1837, is the fourth oldest train station in London and the eighth oldest in the world. Originally named Harrow, the addition of Wealdstone came later in the 19th century as the area developed.
