Alfred Tollon, an 89-year-old lollipop man, has been made redundant after working at Harrow Lodge Primary School for 24 years due to council cutbacks.
Despite wanting to work for free, the council let him go citing financial pressures and inability to insure him. A GoFundMe page has raised funds for his retirement.
