Huw Edwards, veteran BBC broadcaster, was given a suspended sentence after admitting to accessing indecent images of children, including some as young as seven.
The court discovered that Edwards received 377 sexual images from convicted paedophile Alex Williams between December 2020 and August 2021.
During the hearing, it was noted that seven of the images sent to Edwards were of the most serious category A, with the youngest child estimated to be between seven and nine.
Edwards was sentenced to six months imprisonment, suspended for two years, after pleading guilty to three charges related to making indecent photographs.
