Huw Edwards, a veteran BBC broadcaster, pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent photographs of children and faces sentencing at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
The indecent images shared with Edwards included some of the most serious types, with the estimated ages of the children involved being between seven and fifteen.
