Lidl has announced plans to open more than 90 stores in south London, including in Bromley, Bickley, Chislehurst, and Biggin Hill. The discount store, now the third largest supermarket in London, has published a list of more than 100 locations for potential new branches in London.
Lidl's chief development officer, Richard Taylor, stated that they have been the fastest-growing bricks and mortar supermarket for seven consecutive months. They aim for continued expansion with a focus on operational excellence.
