Labour candidate 'chuffed' to hold seat left by Camden's former leader
Briefly

Labour's Joseph Ball won the Kentish Town South seat, succeeding Georgia Gould, with a commitment to housing, sustainability, and local transport improvements.
Cllr Ball expressed, 'We worked really hard over the last few weeks so I'm chuffed to be elected on our platform of investing in new and existing housing, making Kentish Town South more sustainable, working with Transport for London to reopen Kentish Town Station and help residents with the cost of living.'
Alice Brown from the Green Party stated, 'We need more green policies. We need Camden to be greener than it is, that's why I joined the Green Party.'
The election turnout was 17.9%, reflecting a low engagement, while postal voting saw a higher participation at 36%.
