James Bond film maker reports profit fall in year without blockbuster release
Briefly

Eon Productions reported a significant profit drop of three-quarters last year due to no blockbuster Bond film release, facing the third-longest break in 62 years.
Despite a sharp decline in pre-tax profits from 900,879 to 224,985, Eon directors deemed the results 'more than satisfactory' due to increased revenues from other productions.
Total revenues rose 40% year-on-year, reaching 22 million, significantly lower than 234 million during the release of 'No Time to Die' in 2021.
Eon has diversified with other film productions and commercial ventures, but still relies heavily on the Bond franchise for substantial revenue peaks.
