'I think things happen for a reason': Maro Itoje, co-founder of Akoje Gallery, on why he's not afraid of missing out
Briefly

All of my art collection is from African and diaspora artists, so I guess it's wholly reflected in my personal art collection. When we're talking about raising awareness about Black history, Black history is part of British history, so the more we can do in that area the better, and would lead to the greater good for all of us in society.
The last piece of art I bought was by Oluwole Omofemi. Femi is one of our outstanding artists we represent at Akoje Gallery. His works capture the femininity, the esteem, strength and beauty of Black women and celebrate heritage in a way that is truly striking.
