I really enjoyed it': Amy Winehouse biopic applauded by fans despite harsh reviews
Briefly

When it started, I thought she sounds like her, talks like her and she had the look. It wasn't perfect but you can't expect somebody to be Amy.
The film glossed over bad parts of Winehouse's life, particularly her relationships with ex-husband and father. Her ex-husband had a light ride and other media painted her father Mitch in a negative light.
They could have done more on his part in pushing her into fame. To get an in-depth behind-the-scenes, some people connected to her story would need to be involved, and it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
The film follows Winehouse's life from early adulthood to her death in 2011. Set in Camden, Gopi and Raakhee found it a good depiction, with Marisa Abela resembling Amy.
