"It's just good fun, there's a wonderful community here and everyone comes together. It's a really nice way to start the day," said Ian, a participant.
"Christmas Day is always a special one, it's the atmosphere, everybody comes out. It's always a great place to be but it's extra special on Christmas Day," Katy Irving noted.
Luke Belfield shared, "It's a community, there's still people in there, they're so friendly, so vibrant, so lovely. It was actually quite mild, but I am starting to shiver a little bit."
The Met Office reported that Christmas Day 2024 was the mildest start to a Christmas Day on record in some parts of the country, with temperatures hitting 11.9C.
