TfL has announced that from March 2, daily cap increases will range from 40p to 70p, with some fares rising less and others more based on rounding.
The government indicated that future national transport funding depends on TfL fares aligning with national rail fares, impacting Tube and rail pricing significantly.
Notably, bus and tram rates remain frozen, allowing unlimited trips within an hour for 1.75, while several travel concession rates will not change.
The one-day anytime cap for Zones 1 and 2 will increase by 40p to 8.90 as part of the planned fare adjustments effective March 2.
