Hero tells how he fought off Argos warehouse knife attacker with fire extinguisher
Briefly

A man, Joseph Denton, bravely confronted a knife-wielding attacker at a Sainsbury's Argos warehouse. The altercation left five individuals with stab wounds, but their injuries are not life-threatening. Denton, who suffered a cut finger during the incident, described the attacker as someone he had never seen before. After attempting to lock the door, he engaged the attacker, using a fire extinguisher to subdue him until others intervened. The assailant, a 30-year-old man, was arrested, and it was noted that all parties involved knew each other.
Joseph Denton, the man who confronted the attacker, stated: 'I tried to lock the door... I had to just confront him and fight him basically.'
Mr. Denton described the attack, saying, 'He was trying to kill me and I'd never seen him before in my life.'
Describing the knife, Mr. Denton remarked that it was 'the size of my face... about eight inches, with all jagged edges.'
He highlighted the nature of the incident: 'It sort of calmed everything down... we all just carried on attacking him until he left.'
