Greenwich store at risk of losing licence to sell booze after vape sold to child
Briefly

The Greenwich Convenience Store is under review for its liquor license after an employee sold a nicotine vape to two underage customers, violating age restrictions.
The shop's supervisor admitted to not asking for ID from the two boys aged 16 and 17, claiming a faulty till system at the time of sale.
Following the incident, the supervisor expressed regret, stating, 'It's a very big mistake for me. It's the first and last excuse for me, please.'
Council officials have proposed implementing additional conditions, including staff training for alcohol sales and maintaining a refusals register accessible to the police.
