Former QPR striker faces eight year ban over Covid loan
Briefly

Kieron Minto-St.Aimie, a former QPR footballer, has been banned from being a company director for eight years after falsely claiming a £25,000 Covid loan for his academy.
Minto-St.Aimie overstated his sports academy's turnover by £60,000 to qualify for a Covid Bounce Back loan, receiving £15,000 more than entitled under the scheme.
His disqualification serves as a warning that false declarations to obtain funds needed by other small businesses during the pandemic will not be tolerated.
The academy provided coaching and mentoring to youngsters and once hosted sessions aimed at tackling knife crime but closed in January 2023.
