After reports of masonry falling onto the street in Hampstead, emergency services, including firefighters and police, quickly established a cordon to secure the area.
According to eyewitness Jonathan Livingstone, the firefighters were dispatched in response to the situation, which raised safety concerns due to the potential danger of falling debris.
The incident occurred around 3.30pm on January 11, prompting closures near a junction with Hampstead High Street, with bus route 46 being redirected as a precaution.
Emergency services are still investigating the situation to determine the full extent of any danger and to manage the response accordingly.
