Fall in fatalities and serious injuries on London's roads but 'more work to do'

Sadiq Khan's commissioner highlighted the goal to eliminate deaths and injuries by expanding programs, enhancing safety standards for HGVs, and building cycle routes for a greener London.

TfL reported a 40% decrease in cycling fatalities since 2010-14, but pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists still face higher risks, constituting 80% of total deaths or serious injuries.
