E-scooter rules in London are changing - here's everything you need to know

TfL reported that 15 percent of all e-scooter rides were impacted by geofencing technology, which restricts power when entering controlled zones.

Helen Sharp stated, 'Safety was at the core of our e-scooter trial with London having high safety standards,' emphasizing recent adjustments to improve rider experience.

With 4,830 scooters available in London, currently limited to 12.5 mph, the trial's outcome will determine if e-scooters expand further.
