Deliveroo disguise gunman guilty of shooting girl, 8, and her father during spree of London attacks
"Jazz Reid fired a volley of 11 shots, hitting the child twice and the 34-year-old man five times as they sat with other family members in a car in Ladbroke Grove, north-west London, on November 24. It was one of three linked shootings involving the use of two guns, one of which was recovered from underneath a concrete slab outside 33-year-old Reid's home following his arrest, jurors were told."
"The court had heard how Reid would drive a hire car to the area, change into his Deliveroo disguise complete with a takeaway box and cycle an e-bike to the location of his intended targets. In the first shooting on October 9 last year, Reid fired twice, hitting Ameile Buncombe in the thigh at the victim's home in Notting Hill."
Jazz Reid shot an eight-year-old girl and her 34-year-old father in Ladbroke Grove on November 24, firing 11 rounds that hit the child twice and the father five times. One of two guns used across three linked shootings was recovered from beneath a concrete slab outside Reid’s home. Reid allegedly used a hire car, changed into a Deliveroo rider disguise with a takeaway box, cycled an e-bike to targets, and switched phones and SIMs to avoid detection. A jury at the Old Bailey convicted the 33-year-old of attempted murder, wounding with intent and multiple firearms offences. Reid denied responsibility, saying he was set up over a £10,000 debt and that the gun was planted.
