Barking and Dagenham Council has launched a fundraising campaign to support residents affected by a significant fire in the Spectrum Building, where 225 firefighters responded.
More than 80 residents were evacuated and 20 were rescued from the Spectrum Building, with emergency accommodations being provided by the council for displaced families.
Lukasz and Agnieszka, a couple affected by the fire, expressed their devastation, having lost everything, including Agnieszka's wedding dress just days before their wedding.
The council is appealing for donations through an official crowdfunding page, emphasizing it as the most effective way to assist those impacted by the fire.
