CEO of South Korean Crypto Firm Haru Invest Stabbed During Trial: Reuters
Briefly

Hyung-soo 'Hugo' Lee, CEO of Haru Invest, was stabbed in the neck while in court for a fraud trial. His injuries are reported as not life-threatening.
The attacker, a man in his 50s, was apprehended by police, while Lee's injuries led to immediate hospitalization but do not pose a life threat.
The fraud trial follows the arrest of three Haru Invest executives for allegedly stealing 1.1 trillion won from approximately 16,000 customers.
Prior to the incident, Haru Invest had paused all withdrawals and deposits last June and had recently fired 100 employees amid the firm’s financial crisis.
