Transport for London has confirmed that delays on the Central Line will continue until December due to extensive upgrades, including a £500 million refurbishment.
Central Line improvements include a new timetable and refurbished trains as part of the Central Line Improvement Programme, aimed at better service for commuters.
TfL commissioner Andy Lord expressed optimism for the new timetable, stating, 'I'm looking forward to an improved timetable before the end of the year.'
The recent delays have been largely due to an emergency timetable that has been in place since February, reflecting ongoing issues with the Central Line.
