A multi-vehicle crash has caused all traffic to stop on the M25 clockwise near Heathrow Airport, leading to significant delays and congestion for drivers.
The incident, which occurred between junctions 15 and 16 since 7:30 AM, has resulted in five miles of congestion and 60-minute delays on approach.
National Highways is advising motorists on X (formerly Twitter) to seek alternative routes due to the stuck traffic and ongoing recovery efforts.
While two of the three lanes have reopened post-incident, one lane is still shut down to facilitate recovery work, impacting travel flow significantly.
