This weekend, February 15 and 16, train services from Fareham to Portsmouth and in the Virginia Water area will be significantly disrupted due to maintenance work. Key services terminating at Fareham will include London Waterloo to Portsmouth and Southampton Central to Portsmouth & Southsea. Buses will replace train services between affected stations. Additionally, the Virginia Water region will also see train line closures, with buses operating in lieu of direct train services. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
On Saturday, London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Eastleigh services will terminate at Fareham. Buses will run between Fareham and Portsmouth.
The lines in the Virginia Water area will be closed all weekend due to maintenance work. Longcross station will be closed all weekend.
