The Albert Bridge, crucial for connectivity between Chelsea and Battersea, will close for essential repairs from 7am on October 28 until 7am on November 2.
The decision for this six-day closure was made by Kensington and Chelsea Council to allow engineers to conduct essential maintenance on the bridge's deck panels.
Despite the work affecting pavements, the Albert Bridge will remain open for pedestrians at all times, with one walkway accessible throughout the week.
Drivers are advised to divert via Chelsea Bridge or Battersea Bridge during the closure, which aims to minimize disruption by coinciding with half-term.
