Dame Jasvinder Sanghera, appointed as Harrods' survivors' advocate, revealed that the scale of Mohamed Al Fayed's sexual abuse could mirror that of Jimmy Savile, citing numerous eyewitnesses.
She noted that some survivors have indicated there were numerous people complicit in Al Fayed's actions, asserting that such abuse could not have occurred without others knowing.
As of now, around 290 women are involved in Harrods' compensation process for claims of abuse by Al Fayed, with many more reportedly having contacted the BBC.
The documentary detailing the allegations prompted over 70 women to reach out to the BBC with their own experiences of abuse by Al Fayed, indicating a broader issue.
