A40 Westway: Major route into London to partly close for months with detours set to be 'extremely busy'

Structures on the Wood Lane flyover dating back to 1969 need urgent maintenance, leading to closures from Sunday until mid-October.

With an average of 90,000 vehicles daily, the Westway's closures will cause significant impact; works planned to minimize disruptions, including pause during Notting Hill Carnival.
