A new museum in London is always something to be celebrated but when it's one dedicated to women's history, there's even more reason to get excited.Barking and Dagenham Council will be opening the Women's Museum at Barking Wharf Square at the end of this year, which is linked to the local Valence House Museum and Archives, and which will support the empowerment of women and girls by serving "as a platform to showcase the history, heritage, stories and role of women from the local area and beyond."
