3D maps created of south London stations for disabled passengers
Briefly

The new 3D maps created for 10 stations, including four in south London, provide disabled passengers with detailed navigation tools to enhance accessibility.
Carl Martin, Accessibility Lead at Govia Thameslink Railway, indicated that the feedback from disabled advisors was crucial, stating, 'We understand that for some of our customers, visiting a new station can feel overwhelming.'
Govia Thameslink Railway's new initiative includes color-coded accessible routes and features that pinpoint stairs, lifts, and ticket gates to aid travelers.
The 3D maps, designed for mobile and desktop access, could potentially expand to more stations based on the response from the current trial of 10 locations.
