Wrexham has acquired Scottish striker Ryan Hardie from Plymouth Argyle for an undisclosed fee. The 28-year-old, formerly of Rangers, had a successful season in the Championship, scoring 10 goals despite Argyle's relegation to League One. Hardie expressed excitement about joining Wrexham and believes his experience in the Championship will benefit him in his new role. He has signed a contract until the end of the 2027-28 season, becoming the club's first summer signing, as they prepare for their first season back in the second tier of English football.
I'm delighted to get the move done, I'm really happy to get it done so early and I cannot wait to get going.
The last couple of seasons, it's been good getting experience in the EFL Championship and it's experience I can lean on now.
We're looking forward to working with him and believe he can add to our attacking options.
Hardie scored 10 goals in the Championship last season as Argyle were relegated to League One.
