Wout van Aert secured his second stage win of the Vuelta a España on stage 7, sprinting from a reduced lead group in Cordoba.
The Belgian rider showcased his strength, especially after the peloton was split by GCC favorites during the climb, leading to a dramatically reduced sprinting group.
Despite numerous attacks throughout the descent and on the way back into town, Van Aert demonstrated his dominance and was the clear favorite to win.
After catching the last attacker 200 meters from the line, Van Aert launched his sprint, finishing ahead of Mathias Vacek and securing his lead in the green jersey.
