Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres, who has established himself as one of the best strikers in European football with 36 goals and 16 assists this season.
Gyokeres could provide Manchester United with a reliable goal scorer, easing the goal-scoring burden and allowing young players like Rasmus Hojlund to develop without too much pressure.
Liverpool also need a reliable striker to replace potential departures like Mohamed Salah, and Gyokeres could fit the bill if they manage to secure the deal.
