Ward spent 13 seasons at Crystal Palace, making 364 appearances and scoring six goals, helped Palace win promotion in 2012-13 and finished his time with an FA Cup triumph. Ward previously played 96 senior games for Portsmouth and had a loan spell at Bournemouth.
