Striker Kabangu joins Hearts on permanent deal
Briefly

Hearts have secured striker Elton Kabangu on a permanent basis from Union Saint-Gilloise for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old, who made a strong impression during his loan period, scored eight goals in 18 appearances last season, becoming the club's second-top scorer. His contributions included two pivotal goals in a Scottish Cup victory. New head coach Derek McInnes expressed excitement about Kabangu's potential at the club. Additionally, Tony Bloom, with a significant investment in Hearts, has ties to Union Saint-Gilloise, which recently celebrated winning the Belgian championship after a long wait.
"I am very happy to be able to call Tynecastle my new home. I have had some good moments, but I definitely want more of them."
"I had a great conversation with Elton about how I see his role in the team and what I think he can achieve at Hearts."
