Sheree Aldridge was involved in a terrifying incident during a parade in Liverpool when she was hit by a vehicle while pushing her baby, Teddy, in a pram. After the collision, which propelled the pram 15 feet away, Aldridge, who suffered severe bruising, managed to check on her baby, who fortunately was unharmed. Both mother and baby were taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital for evaluation. This harrowing experience has significantly impacted Aldridge, altering her outlook on life.
Ms. Aldridge described the horrifying moment of being hit by the car, recalling, 'I remember someone shouting car' and then I was literally on the bonnet, travelling for what felt like a while before I got thrown off and the car went over my leg.'
After the incident, Ms. Aldridge expressed her fear for her child's safety: 'I was just screaming that my baby was up there, but when I tried to move, I couldn't.'
Despite the traumatic experience, Teddy was found unharmed, as Ms. Aldridge revealed, 'A check-up revealed no injuries to the baby.'
Reflecting on her experience, Ms. Aldridge mentioned her changed perspective: 'I've never really been a religious person, to be honest, but something has changed in me after this incident.'
