Salah has become the first player in the Premier League club's history to score 20+ goals in all competitions for seven successive seasons.
Although this would give the new manager a large transfer budget to work with to build the team he wants, it is hard to find players of Salah's quality and it would be safer for Liverpool to get the superstar tied down to a new deal.
