Miller better for Udinese move and targets World Cup
"You want to be in every squad. [The World Cup is] a dream and one that we maybe didn't think that we'd get the chance to do. It'd be a very special moment and one that hopefully I can be a part of. I feel like I've definitely, definitely got better."
"The physical side of the game, I had to improve on but also my understanding of the game, different game plans, different formations. You're training with players of real quality everyday and you're playing against some of the best players in the world."
"Living myself, I've really enjoyed. I've really grown as a person. It was the first time I'd been out the family home. My family are over all the time, which is nice."
Lennon Miller, a 19-year-old Scottish midfielder, joined Udinese in August after leaving Motherwell and has earned four senior international caps. He believes his game has improved considerably, particularly in physical conditioning and tactical understanding. Miller has adapted well to Serie A, training daily with high-quality players and competing against world-class opponents. He is learning Italian through regular lessons and has grown personally through living independently abroad, with family visiting regularly. Miller aspires to be included in Scotland's World Cup squad for the June tournament in the United States. Several Scotland-based players in Italian clubs, including Che Adams, Kieran Bowie, Josh Doig, Lewis Ferguson, Billy Gilmour, and Scott McTominay, are also competing for selection.
