Footlights Theatre School, a multi-award winning institution established in Manchester, is launching its first London branch in Dagenham next month. Directed by Aderonke Beyioku, who emphasized the alignment of her vision with Footlights' ethos, the school aims to provide accessible performing arts training for children. Joe Fisher, the founder, started this initiative two decades ago to foster developmental skills and confidence in students. Footlights has expanded significantly across the UK, now boasting over 25 branches, with the Dagenham location focusing on nurturing talent and confidence in performing arts and beyond.
"During my search for franchises, I felt like I connected more with the Footlights family and my vision for setting up a performing arts school in Dagenham aligned with what they do."
"Aderonke said that Joe founded the company 20 years ago in an attempt to provide affordable and accessible training for children wanting to pursue performing arts."
